My name is Bev & I’m an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant, based in Karana Downs, Brisbane (near Ipswich, Qld).
I absolutely love my job! I love creating fun yet heart-felt, relaxed & memorable Wedding Ceremonies for my couples (& their guests!).

The great thing about having a civil ceremony is that other than the few legal components which have to be included… anything goes! Why not have fun at your wedding? Yes, it’s a serious commitment the two of you are making, but there’s no reason you can’t add some of your own style & flair.
On the other hand, if you’d prefer a more traditional style ceremony, I’m of course more than happy to create that for you too… It’s all about the two of you! This is a once in a lifetime event, so let’s make it special!   

In addition to Weddings, I also perform Naming Ceremonies, Commitment Ceremonies (including Same-Sex Commitment), & Renewal of Vows. So if you have a special day you’d like me to be a part of, please contact me so we can arrange to meet & chat over a cuppa.

I am fortunate to be based in the Brisbane/Ipswich area, where there are many wonderful locations nearby, which are perfect to hold any type of ceremony. You may choose to have your ceremony in the Botanic Gardens, in your own backyard, on a Sailing Boat in MoretonBay, at a Golf Course, a restaurant on the Brisbane River, on a beach of the Gold or Sunshine Coasts, or even in a Hot Air Balloon… the options are almost endless!
