My name is Bev Handley (formerlyHauschild) & I am a registered Civil Marriage Celebrant. My background is in the retail & hospitality fields. My love of people & 'the nice fluffy stuff in life' (eg. weddings, the arrival of a new baby etc) is what attracted me to a career in Celebrancy, as well as the fact that this work fits in with family life.
I get so excited when I meet & hear the unique love stories of new couples. It's so inspiring! Celebrating the arrival of a new family member is just as fun, & having the opportunity to 'officially unite' same-sex couples in the form of a commitment ceremony (these ceremonies are not legally recognised) is equally rewarding for me. I love what I do!
